Inmate convicted in cellmate’s death

Patterson was returned here from Raiford late last year to face trial in the Collinsworth death and was being held in the Jackson County jail. He is accused of killing county jail detainee Arthur F. Williams, a Canadian citizen who was 82 years old when he was arrested on local charges late last year.
